The firm has an excellent team of specialists in corporate and financial law. The team is co-led by Patrick De Wolf and Fabian Tchékémian.

The team’s activity focuses on the transactional side of the field (private equity, capital market transactions, shareholders’ agreements, stock option plans, due diligence procedures, share transfers) and restructuring operations (mergers, demergers, contributions or sales of business branches, conversion into another corporate form). There are also numerous cross-border transactions in support of the US and Italian desks and in the context of activities on the African continent.

The activity also covers the management of corporate and financial litigation. This involves judicial or arbitration proceedings relating to conflicts between shareholders, the liability of directors or disputes arising in connection with the execution of share transfers. In accordance with the firm’s philosophy, the lawyers of the team favour arbitration or mediation whenever possible.

The team is composed of lawyers from a variety of backgrounds, including members of the New York Bar, and is well versed in the Anglo-American culture that dominates the world of large transactions.
