The firm has developed a specialised expertise in gaming and betting law. It assists and represents the various players in the sector in the context of their digital and retail activities: sports and horse betting, virtual games, casinos, gaming rooms, bingos, slot machines, etc.

In tax matters, the lawyers advise operators on VAT issues (VAT treatment of activities, setting up optimisation structures to limit the non-recoverable VAT burden, etc.), regional taxes (tax on gaming and betting and tax on automatic entertainment machines) and income taxes.  They also represent them in litigation before the tax authorities and the courts.

In regulatory matters, the firm assists players in the sector in order to ensure compliance with their obligations – in particular with regard to the law on games of chance – in particular in contacts with the Commission des Jeux de Hasard and, if necessary, before the competent courts.
