Thierry Bontinck is a member of the French-speaking Order of Lawyers of the Brussels Bar (1996) and the Paris Bar, European list (2013). He is a partner at DALDEWOLF. He heads the European Union Law team. He also deals with commercial distribution cases, both contentious and non-contentious.
Thierry has a recognised practice in the areas of freedom to provide services, freedom of establishment, European contract law and common foreign and security policy, particularly restrictive measures. He is a sought-after expert in the law of regulated professions, defending various professional orders or associations in France and Belgium before the European Commission as well as before the European and national courts. Thierry is also active in the field of distribution law and market practices. These different fields of professional activities lead him to plead regularly before national and European Union courts.
