Brussels, 5 May 2026
DALDEWOLF is pleased to announce the arrival of Mimoza Halili Garin as an associate within its Banking & Financial Services Law team in Brussels.
Mimoza Halili Garin has been a member of the bar since 2022 and brings solid experience in banking and financial law, both in advisory and litigation matters. She previously worked as a lawyer in a law firm where she focused on credit law, financial regulation and insolvency.
She holds a Master of Laws from KU Leuven (with a focus on economic law) and recently completed a specialised programme in Financial Law at UGent (Gandaius Academy), with a particular emphasis on private banking law. Her academic background is complemented by a multilingual education (FR/EN) and a strong command of Dutch and English.
Mimoza joins an experienced and multidisciplinary team led by Gilles Laguesse and Pierre Proesmans, recognised for its technical expertise, pragmatic approach and strong positioning within the banking and financial sector. The team advises Belgian and European banks, financial institutions, asset managers and fintech players on their day-to-day operations and strategic projects, covering a wide range of matters from regulatory and compliance issues to credit, payments and investments. It also has a strong practice in dispute resolution and financial criminal law.
At DALDEWOLF, she will further strengthen the team in matters relating to credit and security law, insolvency and financial regulation, both on transactional aspects and in the context of disputes.
“With Mimoza, we are welcoming a driven and technically strong lawyer, with a sharp understanding of financial matters and a strong sense of efficiency,” said Gilles Laguesse and Pierre Proesmans, partners at DALDEWOLF. “Her profile fits perfectly with the continued development of our practice and the growing needs of our clients.”
With this appointment, DALDEWOLF confirms its ambition to further strengthen its position as a leading law firm in banking and financial law.
