As we welcome the Year of the Snake we take the opportunity to assess the state-of-play of business between China and Europe. Beyond the “partner-competitor-rival”  narrative adopted by the EU, how does business between the two leading economies really play out? Two lawyers working on the frontlines of the Sino-Euro business playing field – one based in China, the other in Brussels – will share their views on a variety of issues and questions:

• Does China still hold opportunities for European businesses in 2025?
• Will the real estate bubble burst and bring the Chinese economy to its fall?
• How do Chinese businessman look at investing in Europe?
• What will be the impact of the “investment abroad strategy” adopted by Chinese government?
• Should we expect a seismic shift of manufacturing capacity out of China due do to the US tariffs?
