Robert De Baerdemaeker is a member of the Brussels Bar (1979). He is Of Counsel at DALDEWOLF. He heads the Social Law team.

He specialises in labour law, criminal (labour) law, social security law and financial criminal law. He covers both individual and collective social rights, issues related to employment contracts, secondment, remuneration, work rules, working hours, safety and welfare, reassignments, dismissals, restructuring and collective disputes.

In the field of social security, Robert is particularly interested in the various aspects of the social status of workers, including ‘bogus self-employment’.

On 19 June 2006, after two years as Dauphin of the French Bar Association of Brussels, Robert was elected President of the Bar by the General Assembly of Lawyers to lead, manage and represent the Association and to chair the Council of the Association and the General Assembly of Lawyers in Brussels.
