The judicial reorganization procedure (JRP): reminders and news

Raphaël GEVERS, partner of the Economic Law team of DALDEWOLF, will present this December’s Breakfast at Stefany’s.

The subject of the judicial reorganization procedure (JRP) has been constantly enriched by legislation and court decisions.

Some companies would be well advised to think about the JRP when they are going through, as they are today, difficulties linked to the increase of suppliers’ or energy costs.

In addition, the end of the bankruptcy moratorium has led to a resurgence of bankruptcy filings, which could be avoided with a JRP, if done in a timely manner.

The presentation will provide an opportunity to review the applicable principles and to discuss, in a practical manner, the latest developments in JRPs (including the pre-pack).
