Romain Battajon is a member of the Kinshasa-Matete bar, Democratic Republic of Congo (2005) and of the Brussels bar, list B (2018). He is a partner at DALDEWOLF. He heads the Kinshasa office.

Romain is a specialist in OHADA law and, more broadly, an expert in business law and business litigation in the Democratic Republic of Congo, a country in which he has been assisting multinationals, SMEs, financial institutions, international organizations and expatriates for many years. His expertise extends to certain regulated sectors such as mining law and public procurement in the DRC. Formerly a lecturer in criminal law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne and a judicial assistant at the Tribunal de Grande Instance de Paris, Romain has acquired a recognized expertise in business criminal law, civil liability law and commercial litigation.
